English Poetry

When hear I sonorous clangs of closing bells
of inner shrine, ringing unceasingly long, long,
so deafeningly long, long;
when smell I fragrant scents of end twilight;
when rain on me the last droplets of cold moonbeams;
when feel I warm presence of strange pleasance
unseen, unknown till then…
I wish to write that day the last letter of alphabet
the Z- zero – the naught, the null, the void
as well the whole, unlimited, that absolute!

I know my wizened hands then shiver not, nor fear
to spill the last few drops of ink
on my last page, last jotted line of my dateless diary…
the Z, zero, the null and whole to end this long journey
…when starts the beginning, a newest beginning!
