Anthology 2013 Entries, English Poetry

In between
what goes on
day in and out
with the sweltry sun sleeping and the dense dark descending
you still manage to take a stroll,
through the streets of my mind.
No, i haven’t at all been missing you.
Its the silent gaze that said more than
what you would this life, to me ever say
those held back desire of hustling
my weight out of me
that single mail, a novel like
today, breathes thick and lump.

The onion moments, we spent as one
remains smelling fresh
in the ewer of richly hued memorabilia.
