English Poetry

Trees have surrendered their worn out leaves,
and soul-force its languid layered sheaves.
Overcoming puddles , middles and muddles ,
to seek the innocence of cradles.

It is the vernal season of the year
and the trees smile in grand cheer;
The sun winks in fiery desire
the flirting earth responds in unbecoming satire;
Divine is the plenitude and abundance
of soft dances, breezes and meaningful glances.

Lord Kama prances in divine frolic.
Lord Krishna ‘s flute wafts magic.
Radha dances with tricks and treats.
O! for the heart that’s eternal and young
For Love and Life has just begun.
O ! to forget all the bonds and strings
to flirt and frolic in coloured impulsive flings.

Cupid flares arrows in the air,
with a palette of multiple colours to spare.
O Spring ! O spring ! Forbear !
Hold this revelry in chaste solitude
Allow me my beatific memories and quietude.

    Seems a balance of anticipation and nostalgia.
    The words leap and skip along wonderfully.
    “…..abundance
    of soft dances, breezes and meaningful glances.”
    Provokes enjoyetude ;)
