Anthology 2013 Entries, English Poetry

Like a dancing stream , this grief
is flowing , fluid and brief.
Take a pitcher ,have your fill,
It is the water of love , it does not kill.

Flowing forwards, outwards, towards
the beloved ,like the souls of the bards.
It loots not nor plunders
It simply surrenders .

It cuts Venus asunder
It’s a marvel , a wonder .
This little heart ache;
This Love’s keep sake .

This spirit of the Wild,
This airy abandoned Child,
of the mystic heights
and stumbling flights .

Very subtle thought put across very elegantly.
    Needs re-reading and re-thinking.
Reminds me of Shelley’s Blithe spirit.

  2. Kusum,
That abstract pain which defies definition but lives within you.
It is subtle and envelopes the spirit like the Blithe Spirit

Such a beautiful elegant & enticing take on ache & fine feelings penning art ,
As for any one to feel proud & fulfilled to have one such ache simmering in one’s heart…
Liked the poem and its intensity immensely.
    Heartfelt kudos
