The Child & Pen ….!
Mother greatly worried phones their family Doctor Haroon at 8 am.
“Doctor my child has just swallowed my whole pen. Please visit soon”
“Madam ‘am very busy” Dr Haroon replies “ I can come only after noon.”
“Doctor won’t that be too late & serious, please advise what do I do till then”
“Madam don’t you have another pen? Carry on with your work using any other pen “
We may heartily laugh at this incident but are’nt we similarly fooled by our set system
Be it rape, corruption or serious scams attention is covertly diverted from saving child to pen..!
” Vishvnand “

that is the penultimate solution only, what is the ultimate one?
Agree…To uderstand the nasty design is ofcourse the penultimate solution
The ultimate would be to sack the family doctor and ensure that in future the child till it grows mature has no access to the pen or items of such nature.
But we as worthy citizens are continuously failing to seriously enforce this solution as far as is concerned our nation and its present advisors like this family doctor presently in operation….
you did not notice the pun I think in the pen-ultimate solution.kagji kaarrvaaee se samadhan pana diva svapn maatr hai.
SN ji, I did notice the fine pun you meant in penning pen-ultimate solution in your comment and hence did pen in my response what in my opinion was something like an ultimate solution; duly knowing that merely to pen could never be the ultimate solution but feel it can always lead to one…bhale dheere dheere dheere dheere .
It can only be said that “People have but a very short memory!Politicians take full advantagee
of such a shortcoming!
Arvind; Thanks so very much for the comment dear.
You are absolutely right , it’s the main reason Politicians once in power can misrule & the Nation unabated suffers .
Only those whose loss is personal & concerns their near dear ones & family who all time with intensity remember
For media & the public these remain as TRP stories to be debated for some time & then, for new ones, easily forgotten thereafter…
Very true , Sir. Our politicians and bureaucrats are truly adept at diverting the people’s attention from crucial issues. We, too, are equally to blame for while we do empathize with these issues and the victims, we only pay lip service in support and don’t really do anything much except blaming and cursing the system. After a while, we again get busy with our daily routines and the issues are pushed onto the back-burner.
Fast track solutions remain on paper only.
If only authorities talked and wrote less and implemented action in the right direction speedily problems could be solved faster.

Even a joke like this one can teach a good lesson.
