English Poetry

And yet again, I fall
But, deep down I get a call
Its no failure as you go down
Do not fret & do not frown

Learn a lesson now my dear
Times change, have no fear
Like the waves of the ocean
Crash, but remain in motion

To rise again to majestic heights
None can keep them out of sights
The moon shall keep them on a roll
Churning energy into their soul

And yet again, I fall
From the waves, I take a call
They have the moon, I did learn
And I have God, & so I yearn

This fall is just a step to succeed
I get up, run with much more speed
Lesson I learn’t from the wave
Fall, but Rise, don’t rant & rave.

    Vijayji,
Deeply philosophical thoughts like the deep ocean.
Significant rise and fall of the waves of the ocean well connected to man’s success and failure in life.
Thoughts well framed in neat rhymes.
Lovely picture of the moving ocean to add to the meaningful poem.
Apostrophe mark to be removed from the word ‘learnt’in the second last line. Perhaps a typing error.
