English Poetry

A silent face, soft glances,

Beauty surpassing senses,

Should I write a painting,

Or paint a picturesqe poetry?

    The tempest within, complacency without,

    Seldom speaks, yet communicates,

    Laddened eyes, pale with ambitions,

    Containing surging, ebbing emotions.

Neither disdain, nor desire,

But the will to live life,

She breathes not air,

But the very wine of life

Hi Ulhas…thanks for the appreciation. If by my definition, “a poem is just a transfered epithet of the poetry by the poet”…a thought that resonates with your poem “Who Wrote this Poem” (read today)…the style and beauty of the poem will fade into triviality had you seen the actual poetry that nature created…many thanks for appreciating my humble attempt to capture the poetry that already exists in nature in the fewer dimensions that words lend us…regards, vikas.

Beautiful and strong beginning. Expect good ones in future too. Writing in hindi is not diificult. If not anything else, go to google/transliterate/indic.
