English Poetry

Night was Starry, moon shining bright
Celebrating each moment with us alright
Fire burning not confined to the logs
No words spoken, lust lingering like fog

Lips trembling, unspoken plea so loud
Mounting you to the seventh cloud
Desire making the eyes go dark
Urgent urge igniting the spark

Finger moving caressing the neck
All senses leaving, what the heck
Senses swooning burning with desire
Taking your all being in the wild fire

Bodies mingling and senses tingling
Loud bells in the ears jingling
Taking to heights like never before
Heart singing and yearning for more

Panting and sweating in the act wild
Shaking and raking like untamed child
Fantasies all coming true and tried
Feeling such deep emotion I cried

The world around shattered in pleasure
Emotions and desires spent no measure
Rainbow colours and light filled around
Passion and desire fulfilled to ground

Oh Lord, do I feel shame or am I shy
Blushing at the memories dont know why
Over and again my heart and soul moan
Passion keeps growing, boundaries unknown !

    A gallant amorous poem
    Very intense, enticing and beautiful
narration of ecstatic emotions of passion.
    Liked the poem immensely
    Kudos

    Vandana,
a good write, good form, good imagery, good rhyming. Plenty of lines to quote.
However, for me there, where is the spark? I don’t feel it, for instance the word “you” is used only once.
” Oh Lord, do I feel shame or am I shy
Blushing at the memories dont know why” – I don’t see the need for the last verse,
    Gion

@Gion Gion,@ gion, Thank you for your observation, as an Indian woman I think most of them still blush after a night of passion as for the “where is the spark” part I think I will improve on that in time…this is my first attempt in penning down “passion”…will keep in ur words when i pen my thoughts the next time…thank u again for pointing it out..

A great one! True, very few Indian women can pen a frank poem like this. But you have done it beautifully!
