Why so ….!
Why so ….!
Many members posting poems at our p4poetry are funny,
On their posted poems they do expect response & comments, many,
But don’t read poems of others nor give their comments, any
Would welcome response to this post not any but many…
Of reasons why this could be happening, if you know any,
For passion for poetry is incomplete without both & if you miss any.

@siddhanath singh ji,
Hi Vishwa nand jee,
just wondering, why you wrote such lines? It is because people are not commenting? a thought only…
I believe, the site serves as a platform to present creativity. It is like showcasing your stuff in a marketplace. It is up to the customers to buy from you or not. Isn’t it?
In addition, I just want to know is there any harm in expecting? Everyone tries to present best of his or her creative sense. Being members of this respective platform, we all should help and encourage each other to learn and grow in this great art of poetry. So, expectation is not always about getting good comments but meaningful advices that helps in better understanding and expression.
Thanks,
Rachana

@Rachana
I am in all admiration of your beautiful meaningful comment which is hitting the bulls eye.
The authors with passion for poetry, who are posting their poems at site with a view to share their poems must expect to know how many have read their poems, how the readers have found their poem and commented upon it. which is a fantastic feature of this site..
In turn these authors must also be aware that other authors who post their poems expect similar response from other authors/members.
The reason for this write was because I felt many authors who posted their poems for various reasons were uncaring about the later responsibility which also is an important part of passion for poetry.
I hope I have clarified the intention and motivation behind the write and all will take it in the correct spirit it is meant and take time to comment on the poems of others as their feedback..

I appreciate your concern for other poets. I always post. Lets encourage the deserved ones…
Vishvji;
I agree with you. Your poem is an appeal
to all the sharers of the site and hope it may
be responded well.

@medhini
yes , you are right. It is an appeal to those who post their poems but shirk from reading poems of other authors and/or commenting on poems of other authors. Hope new & more members would feel goaded to comment on poems without any “holding back” inhibition.

Thanks very much. I think in their passion for creating poems and sharing them with others, this equally important aspect of passion gets overlooked and probably needs just a reminding to oneself, of and on, to spare some time for this activity too, which in fact intensifies creativity; that’s all.
