The village did have a crematorium,
But it was not modern,
For having a modern crematorium,
They needed quite a sum,
They had a fund collection program,
And collected the required sum,
Were happily successful in putting in place
A crematorium, very modern,
Now it is quite some time
They are waiting for no less than
A suitable minister, who will pass away,
To perform the opening ceremony
Of this modern crematorium.

good and humorous.
It seems to be common the world over that though we deride politicians for any “official opening” there is nothing more sought after than a Minister(Senior preferred but Junior acceptable),

yes and this all is mostly due to greedy hidden agenda of the organizers for cheap publicity in media, getting into good books of the personality for some personal favors and gains etc. The authorities in turn find these as nice opportunities to manipulate the organizers.
