Pain

Lesser known fears creep up the shores
There was an omen in my dream
I knew it all along
Haunting images rape and ravage my mind
Taunting me,mocking me.Help ! I’m going blind

Dancing demons hold hands and invite me to their abode
I hitched a ride on the dark clouds and rode
The pain is now too much, seeps out
from every pore,
every crevice.They lick it
Want more and more and more

Renu,
almost a Dante vision.
“The pain is now too much, seeps out
from every pore,
every crevice” – interesting, “seeps out” not in, as opposed to weeps from.
Like a cycle of grief and pain. “..more and more and more.
” Help ! I’m going blind ” – my greatest fear or having sight but in the pitch dark?
These are two powerful affecting verses,
Fergus

A masterly poem on very intense abstraction of pain.
A poem, in style very different & out of the ordinary
Liked the poem very much.
Would like to read one from you similar but on intense abstraction of pleasure.

Echo what Vishva ji remarks. Certainly intense pain reflected in the verses. Your play with words, masterly, as usual.

there’s so much of craving…
the struggle to survive, no one cares for a nadir, its the pinnacle, eyes stretch out at,and still more?
endless sojourn to our ceaseless desires…continues

beautiful poetry as ever…

love it! no one is happy all the time. pain is one of those things that creeps on us be it day or night. but if we don’t worry bout it much and think of it as a phase. it will be long gone when you wake up the next day :D

very nicely written. 5 stars!
