English Poetry

Insecurities gripping in chief
as I lie gasping for air and relief.
Not too far from where I gaze
all I see is dust and haze.
Not many years remaining
horizon appears uninteresting.
Not anyone to guide
with honesty take a ride.
It’s for me to figure out,
find an answer to this doubt.
Cripples my thoughts
as I fail to connect the dots.
Yet I march on in sincerity,
albeit at times with timidity.

All I have is my faith and determination,
He’ll surely take care of my humble ambition.
