Our Life & Prayers ….!

Our Life & Prayers ….!

A school teacher, it said,
gave an exercise to a children class,
”Everyone write a letter to God,
About what you want to know from God”

A small child had written
“Dear God, don’t know why,
Sometimes I remember you,
even when I am not praying,
Is that a sin or is it alright?”

Ever since I read this somewhere
I felt a great joy for the mind of that boy
Felt great admiration for him & his ploy
and wondered how will God now reply
What would he say to that sweet little child?

The matter remained simmering,
In the depth of my mind, unknowing.

Soon thereafter surprising to me
In the wee hours of one morning
God’s answer dawned in my dream,

“My sweet darling child,
You may know or not
Your whole life is my answer
And my gift for all your prayers,
Whether you are praying or not,
For your work, what you do in life,
Good or bad, are nothing else,
But your prayers to me
Better be aware, I am yours to have,
Your Almighty God.”

I woke up feeling fresh & rejuvenated,
In gratitude, contented with what I had done,
& ready to make my plans for future,
In thankfulness to that boy & The Almighty

The poem clearly talks, the presence of God.If my understanding is right ,that the tiniest particle also has its own form of Gods representation. And so the manifestation in all actions and happenings of life. The last but one paragraph has the intense message of “Those who believe can feel, and to feel one has to first believe.”This poem has a great thought for the day and always.thanx sir.

Sir,
It is a valid question by the child. Even great devotees are worried about this fact. Turning human mind, heart and nature towards Him and keeping always in Him is Yoga. After a lot of Sadhanaa too yogis fail to retain that state. What to say of common mortals like us. But I can quote on sloka from Geeta, what Lord Krishna said:
“ananyaa chinthayentho maam yee janaa paryupaasathe
theshaam nithyabiyukthanaam Yoga Kshemam vahamyaham”
This poem really opens the mind’s eye makes us all think of HIM
