A journey in the forest

       The night was young

But my heart was heavy

As phantoms sang

In the full moon night

The forest was alive and screaming

With calls of fiery Wolves and mystic Owls

I walked towards a far off cave

Through the wavy trees and a curvy hill

Fireflies adorned the grassy slopes

A godsend in the lurking shadows

Fear was paralyzing my senses

I kept praying to keep my wits

Suddenly a giant bear appeared in front

I laid on the grass and stopped my breathing

His head bended towards my head

I could feel his breath entering my nostrils

His hairy hand touched my chest

It tickled but I appeared dead

He left after some never ceasing moments

I heaved a sigh of relief from the torment

Just then, I heard laughs echoing in the forest

A women ghost in a white dress walked through me

I saw her feet they were at the back of her body

Her red eyes tore my soul; she ordered me to never return

        I walked hurriedly downwards harried

Never to come to the forbidden forest

I wish I had believed the tribals of that land

I didn’t heed their warnings

Ventured in that grisly territory

Now sweating and dreading that journey in the forest
