HOPE … AND DELIVERANCE FROM FEAR

HOPE … AND DELIVERANCE FROM FEAR

(The Concluding Part Of “Fear”)

The very thought of Him gives hope to me

That very soon free I shall be

From this overpowering fear which has all my senses terrorized

And every part of my body paralyzed.

This hope now gives me power

To overcome this unknown, unseen terror.

As I walk on, at my feet with a crack falls a branch

And I then snap out of my trance.

To the voice I say, “Go away!”

“Over me shall you have no more sway.

Afraid of you I am no more!”

Resolutely, I return home and bolt the door.

The voice continues to call

But now I know no harm shall befall.

I thank God for His Grace

And soon the Evil leaves the place.

Sangeeta,
a beautiful poem on Faith. A good write and the honesty shines.
I enjoyed this even more than the first,
