Shadow even in the darkness!
They aren’t the dreams of my future ,
Neither do I dream of the past,
I see no fantasy, no fairies or nature,
I dream just you and only you my sweetheart.
I walk and I smile, I talk and I smile,
I smile even when in a fight my love!
I eat and I smile, I sleep with a smile,
I think about you and only you my love.
You are in my eyes, you are in my voice,
You are in my blush, oh yes, my dear.
Your giggles echo aloud, louder than any noise!
Only in my heart and my soul, my dear.
It isn’t I who thinks what to dress,
Its your thoughts I think, my love.
You are my shadow even in the darkness!
I am no more me, but you, my love!

An outstandingly deep affection as if, exuded from the core of heart !
By the way, methinks, the last line would have been more emphatical if
re-written as under:-
“I’m no more me, but much more you, my love !”

Thats such a sweet and lovely poem Vijesh. I guess your special one must have read it much before we all did it is very nice… laconic, straight to the point, no verbosity, very apt as a love note from a person to his loved one…
and I really liked the line “shadow in the darkness” you are so much talented in such phrasing…

i am a young innovative poet with lot of thoughts intruding my mind.i love to write poetry.I am enjoying the new life at iitk where acknowledgment does pour from the sky. i hope i continue my hobby and take it to a new level.I love to play all the time. I love to enjoy and cherish every moment of my life.
