English Poetry

Soon the red skies would tear it’s yearn

and calm down soft to a wish;

and to the orange plunge at its turn

would dive to the sea in it’s reach.

Soon that star would smile its meet,

waited dressed as was yesterday

and so, she waits today with her sparkling fleet

a greet such, for her love, as each day.

Soon the labor of a loaf

away from the warmth of a roof,

would seek fire and seek bread

and a home, for which, towards head.

Soon would the children of a new fly

taken to the new heights ply,

they know not of the world, but know of an heart

whose every eager wait speaks of her part.

Soon would the breeze of the seas wing

the tides, to fly ashore

for a soothing kiss to bring

upon the scorching sands on shore.

Soon the wings would flap to cross,

where wishes fail to be,

over the meshes free across,

to take each yearn and they take each plea.

Soon some views, those thoughts puzzled yet,

unproven latent in intents and plot,

to the brilliance of their sire they wait

to show a little of what they’ve got.

Soon the emptiness of the space standing silent

in its pretty dressed up present,

waits, a house in walls bricks and shade

to be a home again for whom it is made.

    Ulhas,
“simple English”?. Tried reading it on my mobile and gave up on the coloured fonts. Read it again and again on line and found it hard to understand. It exudes feeling in the repeated reading. The imagery is challenging to understand.
On final reading I feel each verse is a poem in its own right. Intense but sensitive. Verses 5 and 8 are just beautiful, family makes a house a home,
    Gion

      @Gion Gion,

      The Poem means as below:

1st – Soon the red skies in longining for the sea below, you set in the twilight orange color.
2nd – Soon the stars in a sparkling star fleet waits for the moon to rise.
3rd – Soon the Hard working men set out of home for loaf/bread would want to return back to bed.
4th – Soon the Small Birds would want to return to their mother waiting anxiously.
5th – Soon the wings that cross borders would take the wishes of friends who are divided by borders on either side. AS only birds have a freedom and men dont, so the birds will take their wishes and words across the meshed border.
6th – Soon the thoughts and views wait for their sire’s (thinkers) mind to come to a decision and spill it out for the betterment of the thinker
7th – Similarly the home also waits for you to come back and make it a home again.

Coming home is a dellightfull freedom.
