Me And You

(This is a poem sketching a comparison between poor and rich)

Mine is fate,

Yours is fortune.

Mine is tears,

Yours is rain.

Mine is house,

Yours is home.

Mine is hatred,

Yours is love.

Mine is dryness,

Yours is cheer.

Mine is hell.

Yours is heaven.

Mine is dull,

Yours is bright.

Mine is used,

Yours is new.

But still,

Mine is delight,

Yours is worry.

Mine is friend,

Yours is enemy.

Mine is sleep,

Yours is work.

Mine is family,

Yours is group.

What weighs heavier for you?

Decide,

And tell who you’ll be?

You OR Me…..

I really feel proud to read your poems. This one too is surely very intellecual.
I must say that you have got it in you to be a great poet. This is truly the most sarcastic distinction between the rich and the poor that I have read.
God Bless.
