उड़ान

Loading ...Hi all. Travelled to UK 3 days back and let my thoughts fly along with the plane. It is a long one, I edited but my excitement of my first flight reflects, so bear with me 
मटमैले, सफ़ेद, धुंधलके बादल
उनके बीच में उडती मैं
धूं-धूं की गूंजती आवाज़ में
चिडिया सी स्वतंत्र उडती मैं |
अरे, वो गुच्छे से सफ़ेद गुब्बारों के ,
कहाँ को हैं उड़ते जा रहे?
पकडो-पकडो इन इन सुन्दर गुच्छों को
क्यों मेरे पास नहीं आ रहे?
गढ़गढाहट तेज है होती जा रही
मन में गुदगुदाहट के साथ
उत्सुक्ता, अधीरता, खुशी,
सब आभास हो रहा इक साथ|
ऊपर नीला आसमान,
खिड़की से छानकर आती धूप,
अठ्खेलिआँ करती किरणें ,
स्वर्ग का सा सुंदर स्वरुप!
अरे, वो पतली सी क्या है लकीर?
सड़क कोई या शायद कोई पगडंडी,
सैंकडों मील ऊपर से
नज़ारा नीचे का है, वाह, दिल के करीब!
दूरी में है प्यार, अधीरता का एहसास,
यहाँ भी यही सच उभर है आया
नीचे, पास, भला नहीं जो लगा,
ऊपर आ ,दूर से, आश्चर्य का देता आभास |
पतले-पतले कुछ पारदर्शी से बादल,
इक परी के पंख से होते प्रतीत ,
चाहूँ मैं, मैं भी उड़ लूं संग में,
आँखें बंद कर इन मस्त फिजाओं के बीच|
अरे, यह क्या ज्वालामुखी सा है फट रहा?
श्वेत-श्याम का मिश्रित लावा
धुंधलाती फिजाओं में है बरस रहा|
यूं लगता, बर्फ सी सफ़ेद चादर ओढे
चैन से धरा है सो रही,
और मैं,
पंछियों सी स्वछंद,
आसमानों पर हूँ उड़ रही!!

@viju, Thanks for the appreciation Viju. Vishva ji has already invited you over to take you out of the dilemma, but in shortcut, just open transliterate, type in hindi , copy and paste in the publish page, bas, ho gayaa !

What a beauty of a poem. All who have taken a long International flight will identify with this beautiful poem and be vividly reminded of their very first such flight. The poem is so fresh, vivid & a beauty in poetic narration.
Any amount of praise does not seem to do justice to the poem and to you who have experienced and penned it.
My deeply felt appreciation for this post and profuse thanks to you for writing & sharing this poem here.

@Vishvnand, विश्व जी, आपका अति धन्यवाद| जब उन सुन्दर गुब्बारों को देखा, हाथ खुद-ब खुद डायरी की तरफ बाद गए, बस लग रहा था इश्वर के बनाए इन अचंभों को बस निहारती रहूँ|
waah di…aapne to apni kalpanaon ke par khol kar gagan se bhi oonchi udaan bhari hai… bahtu pyaari si rachnaa bann padi hai… bahut sukhad…….:)
bas ek baat…
“इक परी के पंख से होते व्यतीत,”
यहाँ आप शायद “व्यतीत ” की जगह प्रतीत कहना चाह रही थीं शायद…

@vartika, Thanks Vartika, for pointing out that silly mistake. Have done the necessary correction. और जब इश्वर की सुन्दर रचनाओं का आभास होता है, सुखद शब्द खुद-ब-खुद उमड़ पड़ते हैं | और ऊपर तो वैसे भी स्वर्ग का सा ही लगता है |
Bahut sundar, Aapki unchi udan ki kalpana me bhi ek gahrai hai…..
Bahut hi achchhe aur saral shabdon me aapne apni kalpana ka varnan kiya hai………….. Ek achchhi rachna, padhkar dil bag bag ho gaya……

I feel much more overjoyed when I happen to enjoy reading such reality of
natural scenario via decent poesy from someone partly or wholly belonging
to Jaipur, who you be, Parminder G. Very nice of your poetic art indeed !

@ashwini kumar goswami, Thanks Sir, I too reciprocate the feeling. Lived in Jaipur for 15 years and the warmth of the city is still with me. Will certainly read a whole lot of poetry in the next few days.

@renu rakheja, Thanks Renu for the appreciation and for joining in my joy. I did look on on things as a child would, how else would I enjoy ? I hope I always remain a child at heart and not reach the state where they say ” Done it, seen it all “. Saw the crown title too now, and am wondering….:)
Born and brought up in Kanpur, married in Jaipur and now in Chandigarh, I have been fortunate to taste various cultures of our country. Had a brief stint in teaching while in Jaipur but more duties called. Now, help my husband in his business as much as I can. I love Music, reading, writing, painting, when time allows as I am part of a family of nearly 70 lovely people. I will always be indebted to p4poetry for providing an outlet for what I had always kept under lock and key.
