A call…..

Loading ...There may be times,
When I’ll be a burden.
There will be times,
When I’ll fall weak.
But in these times,
You can be certain,
You just have to hear.
Just let me speak.
I know at times,
My words are harsh.
I know at times,
I can’t stop crying.
But I’ve been worse,
And I’ve been down.
It’s because of you,
That I’m trying.
I know you have work.
I know you have your own life.
And I know there are things more important,
Than for you to put-up with a strife.
Just know that I understand,
Even though I may not sound.
I only want to hear a friendly voice,
I just want to show you the wound.
The work can’t always wait, I know.
You can’t always be nursing my pain,
And that you have other people,
Rather than to hear me again.
But please be kind
When you say ‘no’.
I’ll wait for you silently,
Or I’ll just let go.
When I can’t find the words,
Please be patient with me.
When I can’t point out where it hurts,
Please wait long enough to see.
I know I ask for much more
Than I can ever give.
But you know that I tried,
And will as long as I live.
You know I tried to be there,
When you needed me the most.
I heard out and nodded,
Even when I was scared and lost.
I’m sorry I couldn’t understand.
But you know I did try.
Try to broaden my shoulder,
When you needed to cry.
It’s not a return,
That I ask.
Please don’t do it
If it’s an unwilling task.
I’m not a bad-friend,
That’s what I need to explain.
All the promises and trust
All the warmth wasn’t in vain.
For me when it was dark,
I searched for a light.
That’s when I found you,
An angelic sight.
I know you’re not mine.
The light can’t always stay.
That a dark night always follows,
Every glorious day.
But help me weep,
Don’t wipe every tear.
Just give me a hope,
That the next day is near.
Just turn back and smile,
Don’t slow your stride.
I’ll soon catch-up,
And walk by your side.

it may not be d best of ur poems… but to me it really is a beautiful and honest poem……. it appealed to me and it appealed to the core of my heart….. honest confessions…emotions flowing like a fresh stream… njoyed reading it… 4 stars for u…..

I agree with vishvnand sir,the poem IS brilliant.some feelings are so beautiful and fragile,its best to treat them in a simplest possible way…keeping it simple is tougher;since interpretation of some ideas tend to get repetitive-but not in this case.just loved some of your mild punches.i hope you start writing more frm now!
