Crowned Poem, English Poetry

The sheets are crumpled

Pillows tossed around

Thundering passion has found

A Serene ground

My sleepless night-

A pleasing lull.

Your benign face-

A lot to mull.

You scorched the floor

And brought the roof down

Embers burnt deep inside

In the untamed act coyness died.

Complete today, yet sleepless

I blush and can’t help confess

Beneath your intensity and romance

I sense an undercurrent of innocence-

The little kid with big dreams

The wisdom years of experience bring

The magnitude, the vulnerability

The Man who loves me.
