Violence in India tightens its claws
As the general election nearer draws
Explosions are heard in continual rhythm
We have failed to combat terrorism
“Masterminds are in jails.” police thus claim
Yet blasts take place again and again
“The culprits roam freely.” Some poeple opine
How can be I sure the security of mine?
Society seems divided on communal ground
Hatred and enmity spread all around
More arms, new instruments will India need
Arm suppliers abroad would be happy indeed
No more should spread the fatal poison
Let us be united and find out a solution
Aren’t we children of Adam and Eve?
Why this infight, why I and you?
Co-operate and do for India’s prosperity
We will live peacefully and ensure our security
I am a practicing Muslim. I believe in religion. Therefore, I want to do something for the humanity. I think 'poetry' to be one of the best means to convey one's message to others and thereby make them sharing their ideas and points of views to them.
A good poem of sincere holistic thoughts.
