Office door locked
After one year’s leave, here, I stand,
To join the company office, here I stand,
Alas! I found the red door near me, locked,
To my dismay; baffled and shocked.
Have no idea about the things, that took place,
In my absence, as I was in native place,
All the way, I came from there,
To find the office door locked, here.
To whom I can ask, here, anything about,
Do not know, as I see none moving about…
My memory goes back to the good old days,
When friends, used to giggle, in those days,
And chat and it was surely heart warming,
The office staff too was nice and warming.
We used to gather in the garden,
Just, near this red door, now it’s not seen,
During the lunch and coffee time,
Sharing thoughts among us, to pass the time.
We used to celebrate in the office hall,
Just behind this red door, gather all,
Present skit, dannce and song,
Through out the day, all along.
Has the company been shifted somewhere,
Or, is it down, tightly closed, forever?…

Good poem, simple one. Liked it.
It appears there was no outstanding payment due to you and accounts were settled, before you discovered that the Company has locked out. Otherwise you would find the locked door not like this but very very RED….!and make a different poem.

The office is shifted somewhere, this is a shift in thought, thoughtful shift though. Nice one….
