Memories…
Hidden behind some long forgotten song,
memories of bygone days, of right and wrong.
Suddenly emerging out of the blue,
hits you hard and leaves you without a clue.
Memories has it own way to remind,
through dreams and some other kind.
Etched in our subconscious till we die,
restless and forgotten, hidden they lie.
So much to remember and so much forgotten,
of places, faces and our true intention.
Look back and the beginning appears hazy,
as I try and ponder in a state comfortable and cozy.
A walk forward and never back but through memories,
trying to figure out times and forgotten stories.
Childhood gone, youth gone and this state in the process,
to look back again one day and try to like now trace.
Memories too many to recollect,
as you grow old, one tends to forget.
Living now but history the very next moment,
now is where we belong and that’s what I meant.

Krishna, great man, Poem of the day’ wow……You deserve it….
But krishna, you have to only post one or two a day……Boss you are a poetry machine…..Sometimes the value of the poem is not commended when you produce poems like coke produces thousands of cans per minute………….
You are a very very very very very good poet…..and even if you produce like coke, dont let others drink it like coke…..let them take the maazza of it one at a time. Frankly speaking I might have missed this poem, becasue of this reason….
……”a poem a day keeps the readers at fray”………
Krishna, I wrote all this because, I try to always write a comment on your poem, and I am feeling sad that I missed this…..:)
Ulhasji Thank you very very much for putting me in such a high pedestal.
I don’t really think that I deserve it so much but at the same time I know that its only your love and I am thankful that in you I find a true audience to my poems.
I won’t promise but will definitely try and pay heed to your advice. I totally understand what you mean. I may lose quality over quantity is what you mean too.Thaks again for all the kind and inspiring words.
Take care and have a nice evening…

I am not what I say but what you perceive...
I am not what I give but what you receive.//
I am just a normal young fellow,
I am my true self when I am mellow.///
Revealing my self in my thoughts,
telling my state in varied words.//
At the end of the day I am here to fade away,
it's just a matter of time before I sway.///
To be dead and gone,
into oblivion all alone.//
Would leave behind these roads,
traces of me in the form of words.///
A good take on memory. Good ideas.
But feel the poem needs your working on it some more to bring it to the impact & standard of your other excellent poems.
“Hidden behind some long forgotten song,
memories of bygone days, of right and wrong.”
Beautiful classic start indeed….
