For I love….
He loved her,
For that’s why he’s human.
She’s beautiful,
For that’s why he fell.
There was heartbreak till the horizon,
For his love wasn’t returned.
He loves her,
For that’s why he lives.
He prizes it,
For love’s not possession.
A hand through his hair, a kiss on his brow,
For she’s still his friend.
He’ll love her forevermore,
For his love is eternal.
He’s happy,
For it keeps him so.
But the heart never leaves hope,
For that is love…
A heart of glass
A heart of gold
He tries to be near her,
knowing he would shatter
But in the million shattered pieces
She would be reflected
A million times more……….

Your benchmarks are going underground!!! This is one of the reasons why English Poetry in India is sidelined. Great, carry on…..
very well written…
Agree with Ms Rakheja…
BTW what is Mr. Ravinder trying to say???
Is it a compliment or criticism…
You hav a way with words. The theme isn’t new…but your writing is new and refreshing each time! Beautiful ending too!

“He loves her,
For that’s why he lives.
