Rain,Rain Go Away…
Humming and whistling,a sweet unusual evening,
nature in a way seems to be happy and singing.
Chirpy birds chirp on as the rain falls,
sight from my window my thought halts.
Rain continues to make a sound while it splatters,
into million droplets on the ground as it falters.
Plans to go out halted by the continuous pouring,
nothing much we can do than keep on waiting.
As it continues to shower in all fervour,
thoughts of puddles and potholes I harbor.
Remember the rhyme- rain, rain go away,
don’t want to be home throughout the day.
The roads are slippery, dirty and watery,
thoughts of deluge a feeling quite scary.
Perhaps the clouds have finished its share,
slowed down now, drizzle doesn’t scare.
Have to go and shop in a nearby mall,
stock up the daily things- large and small.
There it is, finally stopped, I thank Thee,
for a chance to get up and from here flee.

I am not what I say but what you perceive...
I am not what I give but what you receive.//
I am just a normal young fellow,
I am my true self when I am mellow.///
Revealing my self in my thoughts,
telling my state in varied words.//
At the end of the day I am here to fade away,
it's just a matter of time before I sway.///
To be dead and gone,
into oblivion all alone.//
Would leave behind these roads,
traces of me in the form of words.///
