The Kings Cap

This poem intensifies the color ‘red’ and the importance of it, it picturizes, the emotions of the color.

While doing that the poem talks about a story of a red coloured ancestral kings cap, and how it has won wars and how it has seen the good and bad times and how it has become the pride of the king.

This can be catogorised as a comedy poem.

The Kings cap was a mighty red

stood tall the kingdom.

Its rituals of the forehead

has many counts to the sum.

The king’s cap was a mighty red

stood tall the feathers

Every feather that marked the dead

had a kingdom to its heir.

The king’s cap was a mighty red

stood tall the medals.

Every medal had deep embeds

and a million stories in riddle.

The kings cap was a mighty red

stood tall the adoration.

What affections these colours made

for every shade had wide emotions.

The Kings cap was a mighty red

stood tall his head.

with all the pride he lived his day

and why not, he did take it to bed.

The kings cap was a mighty red

stood tall, which no more.

Glassed in a history museum

where it still shines the décor.
