I am a Pink Rose

I am a Pink rose
As you can see
I might not be there
The next time you see
But here in a frame
I remain immortal
Etched into a photo
A memory of glee
Such is life you see
Today here
Tomorrow gone
As petals dry each passing day
And my aroma wafts in the air
Losing its essence day after day
But I made a promise to myself
That I will live each day with equal zest
No moment missed
No disappointments creep
For a life well lived
I die in peace.
