कैसे-कैसे मुकाम हैं ज़िन्दगी के देखो,
हर शख्स बटाँ हुआ दीवारों में देखो,

ज़िन्दगी नाम है बे-वफ़ाई का,
नाम है दुःख-अलगाव-उदासी का,
यहाँ वफ़ा कुछ नहीं, तुम वफ़ा करके तो देखो,

दौलत के भूखों की इस दुनिया में,
रिश्ते भी तौले जाते हैं पैसों में,
यहाँ नाते-रिश्ते कुछ नहीं, तुम हाथ बढाकर तो देखो,

प्यार क्या है यहाँ कोई नहीं जानता,
प्यार करने वालों को कोई नहीं पहचानता,
यहाँ प्यार कुछ नहीं, तुम प्यार से बोलकर तो देखो,

हर क़दम पर बदल जाते हैं यहाँ रंग,
हर रंग बिखरकर बनता है नया रंग,
हर क़दम पर एक धोखा है,तुम चलकर तो देखो,

ख़रीदे हुए जिस्मों की दुनिया,
बिके हुए जिस्मों की दुनिया,
तुम भी बिक जायोगे, बाज़ार में आकर तो देखो,

कोई हमदम नहीं,कोई हमराज़ नहीं,
कोई साथी नहीं, कोई दिलवर नहीं,
यहाँ सब हैं मुखौटा चढ़ाये,तुम मुहँ नोचकर तो देखो,

न तुम मेरे और न मैं तुम्हारा,
संबंधो का गणित उलझा-उलझा,
हर पल कोई अर्थ लिए हुए,उन आखों में झाँककर तो देखो,

न कोई दर्द बाटें,न ग़मों को देखे,
न कोई जुस्तजू-न आरज़ुओं को समझे,
उलझे हुए रास्तों की ज़िन्दगी, तुम जीकर तो देखो,

न होगा कोई रहबर-न कोई रहज़न,
न होगा कोई मित्र-न कोई दुश्मन,
फिर भी लुटाना होगा जीवन,तुम मरकर तो देखो,

कैसे-कैसे मुकाम हैं ज़िन्दगी के देखो,
हर शख्स बटाँ हुआ दीवारों में देखो.

One of the best I’ve read so far as far as Hindi poetry is concerned.
You’ve written it so beautifully and all that you’ve written is not only poetic but every word is true…
I have no words to express how much I enjoyed it. So true and so very well expressed. You are a poet I put on a pedestal and say -” Here is Mr. Guru who writes with flair and clarity.Read him and you’ll be drenched like from a summer rain,understand and you understand bits and pieces of life as of today”
