BLUESY HUE
Now it is all that the heart remembers,
The lone shade when my rainbow renders,
It ended soon before it begin with – You.
Never knew what colors could do,
Back in the days of my restless youth,
Till, that evening when I saw the truth,
What deep still blue eyes could show to you.
No, I never recovered from the bluesy hue
You and I were deep friends even then,
But it never really had begun, till then,
And it all ended before I could discover you.
That night, time stilled, to show us forever,
Your innocuous eyes, hinted a want,
With a glint of blue as the sun went slant,
Only that fleeting moment, came again never.
Stars where dots and we where the joining pins,
Then when the day had unfurled,
I recall I had lost you to the world,
I still wander near those shores forty years since.
I don’t remember now, much of me or you
I am searching to feel again, feel my bluesy hue.
