Wings of dreams

I looked at the white puffy clouds

And thought for a few moments,

If I had wings to fly to view these

I would have flown into these.

At once, I got a pair of wings

              And flew into the clouds,

              The snow white milky clouds

Took me for a ride into the moon’s craters.

High and low, over the hills

And mountains, over the streams and rivers,

              Where all it took me, I do not know;

I got thrilled and enjoyed thoroughly now.

              At once, bright lightning struck

              Made the clouds give spark,

My wings got burnt into ash

Water poured over and over the ash.

The wet ash mixed with water

              Came down as ash water,

               Down came, only my soul

Without noticing by none at all.

That is the end of my wings

That is the end of my dreams,

A cat cried ‘meow’, near the door

At once, I woke up, to shut the door.
