Moon

Whenever there is darkness…

You give me light

Whenever there is loneliness

You give me company

Whenever I want to talk to someone

You lend me a patient hearing

Oh! Moon

How do u follow me…

Wherever I go

Even when I close my eyes…

You are watching over me

There have been stories about thee

I wonder if they are true

Does a hare reside on you?

Or a toad that jumped from earth on thee?

Almost every country on earth…

Worships thy greatness

With stories and legends abound

Can I too live on your forsaken lands?

Will you welcome me?

Can we build another world on your surface?

As earth might get too crowded one day

Or global warming could…

Gulp all land and living creatures

Will thou allow me to plant trees on thee?

So that new life could sustain

And carry the human legacy forward

Excellent poem indeed.
Liked very much the train of thought, dialogue & accompanying feelings running through the entire poem.
