rang mein ranga hein, ya asma ki chaya
pyass sey hein jan roya, pyass sey hein maan roya
pani aja, pani aja, is saal meine, saab jo hein boya.
Regisstan mein pyas hein, aur dur ek gau mein aas hein
koyi bhi rang mein tu aye, tere bina saab udas hein
mein tuta aur meri darthi tuti, ketho ke lash lein
dono hi tute hein, gau ho ya regisstan, tere hi lute hein.
Kahi tu aya, aur kahi hein tuney khun laya,
pyaas kahi bhuji, aur koyi pyaasa hi soya
keth kahi banjar huye, aur keth kahi samandar
ghar kahin tute tute, aur ye duba manzar.
Mere gau mein na koyi samandar, mere gau mein na koyi manzar
ab saal huyi, mere keth kadey hein banjar
tere intezaar mein, kitno hein rangey khanjar
ab shayad, meri baari hein, tuney anna hein aja,
mere baad shayad kitney hein, teri aas mein mitney hein, Pani Aya Pani Aja, Pani aja..

Good poem. But had quite a difficulty in reading Hindi in Roman script due errors too.
Stongly recommend your posting this poem in Devnagari script to really enjoy reading it.
