 Slow me down O!Lord,

Let me not rush O! Lord……

Teach me quality of ease,

In tackling all my tasks.

Slow me down O! Lord,

Ease the pounding of my heart,

With Your silence in my mind.

Let me have a peace within,

Of a type that is Your kind.

Slow me down O! Lord,

Let me not rush O! Lord……….

 

Remind me of the Tree,

Towering, tough & strong,

And know it has so grown,

Within & taking time….

Slow me down O! Lord,

Let me not rush O! Lord……..

 

Break the tensions of my nerves,

With a soothing prayerful song,

And let me know for everything,

I have sufficient time.

Slow me down O! Lord,

Let me not rush O! Lord………
