उनकी जज़्बातों में शामिल नहीं हूँ मैं…
समझा जिन्हें मंजिल, तोड़ा उन्होंने दिल
कहते हैं उनके प्यार के काबिल नहीं हूँ मैं.
ओ दिल ना हो उदास, मैं हूँ तुम्हारे पास
जुर्म ‘है‘ उनका मगर कातिल नहीं हूँ मैं.
जब लीलेगा मंझधार, ना होगी नैय्या पार
उस बार ’हम’ कहेंगे, साहिल नहीं हूँ मैं.
हम उनके हैं करीब, पर फूटा ये नसीब
उनके सूर्ख होठों को हासिल नहीं हूँ मैं.
