English Poetry

Its time again,

introspection in solitude about gain and pain,

The reservoir, the source of joy is you,

and here I am with thoughts anew.

Yours and mine is not the question,

the wisdom is you are my life’s companion.

Love and care is what matters,

its ignorance got many unions into tatters.

You are the one, special and precious,

ever will be,its my conscience, ever conscious.

You are my strength,my power and my pillar,

sans you into pieces I will break down and shatter.

In loving you I’ve found my self,

shown me the way, been a great help.

You are the shoulder that I lean on,

without you,I cannot with life get along.

You are all that I have,

ever has been my desire and crave.

You are the one I love and respect,

I am all emotions and you are my intellect.

    Krishna,
a great love poem. You touch on some things that should be obvious to couples but don’t seem to be.
” Yours and mine is not the question,
the wisdom is you are my life’s companion.
Love and care is what matters,
its ignorance got many unions into tatters.” – the greatest struggle I found starting in marriage was adapting to this.
There is a feel of gentle strength in this write, something worth thinking on,
