Moving On

Last week I walked

Along the same road

Where you and I’d talked

As down came the sword

Every stone was in place

Every flower in bloom

There was just no trace

Of my grief and gloom

You too have moved on

Without looking back

Only I stay forlorn

And alone in the dark…….

Maybe the raod and him were feigning normality?
A poem which I so relate to…

Two edges of the road and two newly turned strangers.
distance can’t be measured in miles
loved reading it

short and simple but says a lot… it’s true how ppl can sometimes seem to be insensitive… but then as preeti said…. it might just be feigned normality

A beautiful poetic flower. Thanks for the emotions it provoked, reading it.

Aparna,
” As down came the sword ” – there is an edge of violence to the emotions.
The second verse is so real to me. Been there.
The title is made ironic by the third verse. There is a parallel world at work hear.
very touching poem,
Gion
