Blubin Wonders(revisited)
A bundle of joy,
Is what we used to call him then;
We found him in the garden one early morning when,
Eyes closed tight and a face of the size of my palm;
His presence itself lighted up the realm…
Everyone who saw him would bless their existence!
He was such an adorable little thing.
As days passed by and seasons came and went,
The playful puppy was named Blubin,whatever the word meant,
As Blubin felt homely,in our blue dustbin,
Water-blue coloured it was;cylindrical and made of tin.
Black spots around the shiny black eyes,
Would leave everyone who passed by,completely hypnotized…
The tiny brown nose,would scan everything seen around;
And one day,he was gone.
HE WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.
Everyone in the family felt his absence,
The barks,the squeaks,things that didn’t even make sense;
were so full of life,so heartfelt,
that every single worry,would burn down and melt.
Then something happened,that never should have happened.
Something so dark,that everything white blackened.
We found him on the road,
Bleeding and mowed,
With folded legs held upright,
It was such a disturbing sight;
The tongue had rolled out,
He was lifeless throughout.
The day he died,
Every single individual cried,
With no emotions to hide;
We had to bid him goodbye.
It was not supposed to end like this!!
How could sorrow overshadow such a bliss…
This painful fact still fails to settle inside me,
That even I’ll have to leave like Blubin someday,
You’d agree.
So,here I resolve that however dreadful be the day,
I’ll keep living my life large;right throughout the way,
As death will come,I’ll welcome;
But will never stop spreading joy till that very day..
Whatever be the god,The almighty has to say.

The poem will touch the heart’s inner core of any one who have experience of nurturing a pet at home, and their immense pure love…
I own a pet too, and I am afraid i’ll have to face a similar day when our pet will leave us forever. They become a part of the family. A touching tribute! Keep spreading the joy around…in remmeberance of blubin!
Tears rolled my eyes as I was coming towards the end of the poem . Its indeed wonderful that till death you will spread joy each and every day . Thats what god has sent us in the
world for .
Nice poem, I had a dog once,it ran away and never cam back, my grandfather used to console me saying that it knew it was going to die(being 12 yrs old) and so ran away to help us feel less sad about the death…
