CONFLICTS NEVER CEASE
Conflicts in this world never seem to cease
Life, it appears, cannot be lived with ease
From morn to night, we are fighting away
Nary a day passes, with total joy and peace
Who can be called wrong and who is right?
This, as expected, is the basis of every fight
A point of view, an opinion is unwelcome
What we think correct, we must hold on tight.
Freedom of speech is only found in a book
If you don’t believe, see around, take a look
Perspectives will change, so will beliefs, but,
I, me, myself is there in every corner and nook
Husband, wife, friends, parents, even your kid,
Each much listen, when the other makes a bid,
Every ego flies high, supreme and confident,
Let the ‘I’ die, and of conflicts we shall be rid.
But the biggest war is always within my mind
All sorts of ideas where you will surely find,
I struggle, to make sense out of this chaos,
Before I go, before I leave this world behind.

Well said ….I,me,myself is there in every nook. The key thing is to become aware of it…that is the beginning of the great inward journey
“But the biggest war is always within my mind
All sorts of ideas where you will surely find”
I totally agree with you there…beautifully written.
Cheerio.
well written and well said…… what is right and what is wrong is just a matter of opinion…. as einstien said… “everything is relative…”
Very well written and I believe everybody can relate to the last two paragraphs…making sense out of this world..the eternal search

Yes, the mind is home to chaos…..great flow of the poem, a point put across well. I think this is the case with each one of us!
