parminder: I agree with Vishvnand ji, the page looks too prosaic and not artistic at all. The site being related to a form of art should show some artistic flavour rather than be like a newspaper.

Preeti Datar: I agree Vishvnandji. Vikash, can we bring back the slide show? It just adding the zing/spicerequired to this superbly compact mainpage

VishVnand: May be this is felt so because we have experienced the presence of slide show.

VishVnand: At this moment the page looks much better & artistic because of the appearance crowns & podcast icons, otherwise without these it will more look like an index page, in spite of the very elaborate & well thought of features nicely incorporated on the page.

VishVnand: Slide show was really good and added to the looks of the main page. It would still be good to have it but may be of reduced size,if possible, which can be also used for some important announcements. Without the slide show the main page looks just matter of fact & business like, no frills.
