मैं पिघल कर बह आऊँगी, तुम्हारे पास
मीठे लफ़्ज़ ना कहो
दिल को समझा बैठी थी
अब वो बेकार हो जायेगा.
छुप छुप कर रातों में मत आओ
तुम्हें मैं देख लूँगी
क्युँकि नींद आना भूल गयी है.
इतना प्यार मत करो
मैं लौटा नहीं पाऊँगी
मेरी हर साँस से उम्मीद मत बाँधो
मेरी साँसों की गति तेज हो जायेगी
और मैं फिर सोच में पड़ जाऊँगी
होठों पर ‘प्रीत शब्द मत लाओ
मैं समझूँगी, मुझे पुकार रहे हो
और मैं तुम्हें खोजने लगूँगी
अपने दिल में शायद…
ठहर जाने दो इस लम्हे को
एक रंगीन तस्वीर की तरह
आज तुम कुछ मत कहो
कुछ मत लिखो
कुछ मत सोचो
…बस तुम मुस्कुराओ, कल की तरह…
नहीं तो मेरे आँसू बहते जायेंगे
और मेरे अंदर समाये तुम्हारे प्यार को
अपने बहाव के साथ विदा कर देंगे
इस सूनी शहनाई की गूँज में
मेरा हर आँसू
मुठ्ठी में समा लो
ये तुम्हारा प्यार ही तो है
इसे किसी और पे निहारो.
भगवान से सच्चा प्यार माँगा था
मुझे तो खुद भगवान ही मिल गया
और उसे भी खो बैठी
मैं समाज से
और खुद से जो डर बैठी
मौका मिलेगा तो एक बार
तुम्हारी बाँहों में समा कर
रोना चाहती हूँ
कहना चाहती हूँ…
कि तुम जैसा प्यार
मुझे किसी ने नहीं किया
और आभारी हूँ कि तुमने मुझे समझा
और अपने प्यार को आज़ाद किया…
शायद मैं आज़ाद पंछी की तरह
लौट आऊँगी तुम्हारे द्वार पर
और उसे मोटे ताले से जकड़ा पाऊँगी
क्युँकि तुम्हें कोई बेहतर मिल गया
जिसने तुम्हारे दिल को अपना मंदिर बनाया होगा.
पर मैं तब भी मुस्कुराऊँगी
आखिर मैंने प्यार करना तो सीख लिया
कुछ देर से ही सही…
तेरे द्वार से निराश लौटने का
थोड़ा गम तो होगा
पर एक बार इतना प्यार देख लिया है
अब जीवन का हर संघर्ष पूरा होगा.

all the thoughts expressed are definitely heartfelt, I am still in shock, imagining a love so divine, and the sublime tragedy of loosing it, but gaining the capacity to love.

as far as structure is concerned little bit of extra effort would have made it a class apart. It still is but because of the purity of thoughts
