Death Before Death

My beloved is hiding from me.

He showed a glimpse

and disappeared

I have lost my senses and my sleep.

Who needs them anyways

If your beloved is not there?

He has become the pomegranate seed,

Which goes in hiding in the autumn freeze

I will not sleep till the spring arrives.

He may just peep in between

And bring the spring with Him.

I hear His laughter everywhere….

You have His smile,

And you, His laugh

As day turns into wine night

And night into dripping day,

The Moon changing from fullness

To a stricken thin cresent shape,

Longing for her lover

Who hides from her as she makes her entry….

As the mynah breaks into a grieving song….

As the stream moans while gushing down,

The ocean eons away….

They are all singing my story.

Why are you making me die before my death?

Surprise me by kissing me on my lips

And make the moment stretching into eternity….

Give me just one glimpse and

Make my lifeless body devoid of soul

Spring back into a dance,

Emerging from the part of the part of my whole

Gently handling the words the poem has a sad heart trobbing with deep passions and pathos longing, wating for someone departed.Renu has this inveriably in variety of shades at the centre of her heart converted in to her beautiful poems.Likewise hearts can understad it better.I would like to share her with my collection of poetry only if she likes so.
